Search for and order a domain name

Use the domain search at the top of the hosting page to find a name for your business and order it.

Search

1. Type the name you want, for example mybusiness or mybusiness.com. If you leave out the ending, we check .com.
2. Press Search. A short check keeps robots out; it runs by itself in most cases.
3. The name you searched appears first and says Available or Already taken. Below it you see the same name with other endings, with the price for the first year.

Use letters, numbers and hyphens only. A hyphen cannot be the first or last character.

Add names to your cart

1. Press Add to cart next to each name you want. You can add up to ten names.
2. Press Go to cart and order when you are done.

Your cart shows each name with its price. Press the cross to remove one. You can order domains together with servers: everything goes on one invoice.

Order and pay

1. Check the total under Due today.
2. Press Place order and pay. If you are not signed in, you are asked to sign in or create an account first. Your cart waits for you.
3. Pay on the secure payment page. See Pay an invoice online.

We check again that each name is still free when you place the order. After your payment is confirmed, we register the domain for you and you can see it in your account.

If something goes wrong

• A name says "no longer available": someone registered it while you were deciding. Remove it from the cart and choose another.
• "You are searching very quickly": wait a minute and try again.
• Search is not available: try again in a few minutes, or contact us.
