Who we are
Build it designs and builds software, and runs UHOST, a hosting and domain service. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Build it, including UHOST. "You" means the person or business using our websites or services. Our addresses and contact details are on the contact page.
Using our websites and services
By creating an account, placing an order or using our services you agree to these terms. If you act for a business, you confirm you have the authority to accept them for that business.
- You must give accurate details when you register or order, and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for your account, your password and everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian accept these terms for you.
What you must not do
You must not use our services, or let anyone else use them, to:
- break the law of Bangladesh or the law of the country where the service is used;
- send spam, phishing or malware, or host content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights;
- attack, probe or overload our systems, other customers or third parties;
- resell or share a service in a way your plan does not allow.
If you break these rules we may suspend or terminate the service without a refund, and report serious cases to the authorities.
Orders, prices and payment
Prices are shown before you pay, in Bangladeshi taka (BDT) or US dollars (USD) as stated on the order or invoice. An order is accepted when we confirm it or, for hosting and domains, when your payment is received.
Online payments are made through SSLCOMMERZ, a licensed payment gateway. See our privacy policy for how payment details are handled. Services that renew are invoiced before the renewal date. An invoice that stays unpaid may incur a late fee as shown on the invoice, and the service may be suspended and later terminated.
Hosting, domains and servers
- We aim to keep services available, but we do not promise they will never be interrupted. We may schedule maintenance and will give notice when we can.
- You are responsible for your own content, and for keeping copies of your files and databases. When a service is terminated, its data may be deleted and cannot be recovered.
- Domain names are registered through third-party registrars and follow their rules and those of the registry. You must keep the registration details accurate.
Software projects
For custom software, the scope, price, schedule and payment steps are set out in the written quote or agreement we agree with you. If it differs from these terms, the agreement applies to that project. Unless the agreement says otherwise, you own the work we make for you once it is paid for in full, and we keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how.
Intellectual property
The Build it and UHOST names, logos, website design and text belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission. You keep the rights to the content you put on our services, and you give us only the permission we need to host, back up and display it for you.
Our responsibility to you
We take care in providing our services. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost business or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the relationship
You can cancel a service as described in our cancellation and delivery policy. We may suspend or end a service if you break these terms or do not pay. Refunds are covered by the refund and return policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For changes that matter to you we will tell you by email or in your account before they take effect.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. We will try to settle any dispute by talking first. If we cannot, the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh have jurisdiction.
