Find your server login
Show your server's root username and password, and what to do if none is stored.
Your server is created with a user called root and a password that only we have seen once.
Show your login
- Open your server from Servers.
- Under Login, press Show login.
- Your username and password appear. Press Hide login when you are done.
Each time you show the login it is written to your account's activity log, so you can tell who looked.
Keep it safe
- Do not share the password in email or chat.
- Change the password the first time you connect. See Connect to your server.
- If you lose access, you can reinstall the server, which gives a new password. It erases everything on the disk.
No login stored
For servers that were set up outside this website, we may not hold a password. The page then says that no login credentials are stored. We cannot recover a password we do not have, so contact support and we will help you regain access.
