Renewals and billing cycles

How monthly and yearly billing works, when you are invoiced, and what happens if an invoice is not paid.

Billing cycle

When you order, you choose monthly or, where the plan has one, yearly billing. Your server stays on that cycle until you ask us to change it.

Renewal invoices

Before each period ends we create the next invoice and email it to you. Your server's page shows the Next due date. Pay the invoice before that date and your server carries on without a break.

If an invoice is overdue

An invoice that is not paid after its due date can lead to your server being suspended, which switches it off. We email you a warning first. A suspended server is switched back on automatically once the invoice is paid.

If a server stays suspended and unpaid for a long time it can eventually be terminated, which deletes it and its data. Keep your invoices paid, and keep copies of anything important.

Late fees

Some accounts have a late fee added to an invoice that is paid after its due date. If one applies, it appears as its own line on the invoice.
